A combined maximum total of 20,000 low skilled workers from Bulgaria will be permitted to work in seasonal agricultural work and food processing, The Daily Telegraph says.

The newspaper spelled out the rules that will be applied by the Home Office to Romanians and Bulgarians seeking to work in Britain after Jan 1.

The requirements to the newcomers from the two countries differ with regard to the aim of their stay.
