Nine Bulgarians whose professional career has been closely linked to the country's accession to the European Union are featured in a specialised newspaper.
"2007 - Bulgaria - Yes!" has seen so far two editions under the Communication Strategy of Bulgaria for EU Accession.
The paper is released with the support of EU-Affairs Minister Meglena Kuneva, who is awaiting approval for Bulgaria's first EU commissioner.
The articles running under Kuneva-signed heading "Statehood is built up by people" feature the professional stories of a photographer (who pictured Bulgaria's EU Accession Treaty signature in Luxembourg), a French lady studying Bulgarian language, a clothing producer (who dressed Bulgarian Olympic team in Torino), a Bulgarian working at the press office of the European Parliament.
The paper is bilingual - in Bulgarian and English - and its 1000-piece circulation will be distributed abroad on the eve and in the first days of Bulgaria's full-fledged membership in the bloc.
