The Czech government decided to leave its labour market open for newcomers Bulgaria and Romania joining the EU next January.
The news comes after sending strong signals for a positive decision and media reports, arguing the country's economy will benefit from an open-door policy towards migrant workers from the two newly acceded countries.
Last week the Baltic state Lithuania lined the open-door policy towards the two newcomers already confirmed by Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Latvia and Estonia.
The still hesitating states should make up their mind any time before 1 January. Those include Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia.
Local labour markets will remain temporarily closed for Bulgarians and Romanians in UK, Ireland, Greece, Spain, Belgium and France.
