An exhibition of children's paintings and drawings inspired by the natural disasters that hit the country in 2006 was opened in Sofia.

Disaster Management Minister Emel Etem prized the best artists in three age groups and three categories for their take on the calamities around them.

Held under the title "I Saw Trouble with my Own Eyes," the exhibition has become a traditional venue in Bulgaria and takes place for the sixth time. The children's drawings are on display in the National Arts Gallery.
