Camelia Todorova, known as the queen of Bulgaria's jazz, promoted her new album "Feels Like..." Tuesday night, proving she is a versatile artist, always up to new challenges.

The concert brought the curtain down on Sofia Jazz Peak music forum, which featured such international stars as American soul singer Carleen Andersen and Chicago R&B band Earth Wind and Fire.

Nearly two hours of quality jazz music, including new covers of well-known tracks, brought fans and friends on foot at the fully packed Central Military Club in Sofia.

Camelia was accompanied on stage by some of Bulgaria's most prominent jazz musicians - Zhivko Petrov, Vesselin Vesselinov, Dimitar Semov and Milen Kukosharov. The back vocals, a trio, indicatively called "Camelettes", featured one of Camelia's daughters - Rachel.

"This is music full of sex, passion, consciousness, responsibility. All these feelings used to saturate the songs written in the 1960s and 1970s," Camelia says about her new album.

Experts comment the songs are examples of the best in the soul genre, as interpreted by Camelia's heart and voice. And fans are thrilled with what she calls "yet another rediscovery" of her true self.
