EU Ups Travellers' Duty Free Allowance

People entering the EU aboard planes from countries outside the block will be allowed to take with them EUR 430 worth of goods duty-free.

The new higher limits for travellers' duty free allowances were approved by the European Union finance ministers at a meeting in Brussels, attended by Bulgarian Plamen Oresharski.

The new limit for people entering the EU by land or sea is EUR 300.

The limit so far was EUR 175.
