EUROLEFTIST LEADER RESIGNS

Alexander Tomov, the leader of the Euroleft party in Bulgaria resigned last night after his party did not manage to enter the Bulgarian parliament at the general elections on Sunday. Euroleft party has about 2 per cent, twice more are required to enter the parliament. Tomov, a former Socialist party key member founded the Euroleftist party couple of years ago and managed to eneter the parliament slightly above 4 per cent 4 years ago. The party had deputy speaker of the parliament even last mandate. Tomov used to be also deputy PM in one of the first democratic Bulgarian government early 90s.
