Bulgaria's rightist Petar Stoyanov, leader of the Union of Democratic Forces, will be leaving for the United States Tuesday to meet with former president Bill Clinton.
Stoyanov will take part in the second annual Clinton Global Initiative, Darik News reported.
The ex-Bulgarian president is a member of the Clinton foundation, in charge of Eastern Europe.
Over 50 former presidents and prime ministers will gather in New York to discuss poverty, health care, and how to best avoid religious and ethnical conflicts.
Clinton and Laura Bush will open the meeting that will gather former leaders of Pakistan, Chile, Macedonia, Afghanistan, Jordan and many other countries.
This will be Stoyanov's third meeting with Clinton since both stepped out of office.
