Bulgarian MPs decided to have a few days off after the hard work they have done during the summer. In an attempt to cover the EU requirements the people's representatives deprived themselves of a well-deserved summer holiday on warm beaches and fresh mountains.

Well, you will surely get misled if you think that while you are having a great time out with friends they are overloaded with work. In fact, there is nothing so much to worry about, for the MPs can cruise around all the time without asking for a leave.

Moments of intensive work are a part of life but the point is that even when the MPs were supposed to be in parliament voting legislative amendments in August, some of them were caught out having a walk or lying on the beaches.

The leader of the ethnic Turkish movement Ahmed Dogan, who stopped by his work place just a few times last year, has obviously set up a good example for his colleagues.

Let's pay tribute to what these noble men and women have done for themselves and for us, of course, and let them have a two-day rest!
