Doctors in the central Bulgarian city of Gabrovo believe that a summer flu is raging throughout the town, with over 30 infected over the weekend.

Patients all suffer from nausea, diarrhoea, and high fever, and usually feel better in a couple of days without the need of antibiotics.

Medics in the area have also registered an alarmingly high level of stomach infections over the month of August. Patients suffering from those have totalled 24 in July, while their number for August is 43.
