When people do not have really what to talk about, they usually talk about the weather. If you have recently looked through the Bulgarian press or just picked up your ears to what the news anchors focus on, you would probably get the wrong impression that in our motherland there are simply no problems.

What worries me, however, is that there SURE are problems, worth to be discussed even in August when most of the people are on holiday. I find it a bit strange to pay so much of attention to the heat wave, swept the country. We'd better focus on the vehicles from the public transportation in Sofia, for example.

Most of those wretched second-hand buses face the challenge to transport so many people every single day. This does not impress me much, since most of the Bulgarians have turned into people living a second-hand life - they drive second-hand cars and wear second-hand clothes.

Those buses were meant for countries enjoying a much more different climate where an air-conditioner luxury. Here in Bulgaria we cannot afford that comfort and that is why people sweat in the buses and there is something in the air, as a TV advertisement used to say.

You have to be real tough, because these days when people broil and heat reigns in the country, you will have your sauna only for BGN 0.70 per ticket no matter if you want or not.

Maybe it is just the people who make the country be like that...? It is too complicated....

Let's talk about...weather!
