Bollywood charmer Vinod Khanna arrived in Sofia Monday to shoot his latest movie, an Indian-style rendition of "The Godfather".
One of in India's most charismatic actors and an MP, Khanna was greeted by the country's new Ambassador to Bulgaria, who will assume his post once he hands in his letters of accreditation.
Khanna, who has over 150 movies and an impressive career in politics behind him, came to Bulgaria with a crew of 80 to shoot scenes of "The Godfather ... the Legend Continues."
Actors, assistants, make-up artists and even cooks armed with traditional Indian spices accompany the star, as the mafia-dedicated action will be shot primarily in Bulgaria and in Dubai.
Khanna was elected MP in India's Parliament in 1998 and has been re-elected ever since but this didn't stop him from thrilling his fans with a batch of new movies every year. During his days as politician, Khanna has assumed the chairs of Interior Minister and Tourism Minister.
