A violent storm that has killed at least three people and injured hundreds, hit Budapest, while people were celebrating Hungary's national holiday Sunday night. Some 250 have been hospitalised as the storm broke out just as fireworks marking the peak of the celebrations lit up the sky over tens of thousands gathered on squares, bridges and cruise ships. A falling tree killed two people as thousands scrambled for refuge from the raging storm, he city's Mayor Gabor Demszky explained to the media at an emergency press conference on Monday. Another person has been killed and one went missing after two ships clashed on the Danube and several people were thrown overboard. Historical relics have also suffered damages, as part of the President's Pallace was also badly hit by the storm.
