Friday is the fourth day in a row when unbearable heat reigns Bulgaria with the mercury hitting 38C.

On the last working day of the week people can hardly breathe and life in the country has been slowed down to a crippling pace. There won't be any relief from the heat wave as forecasts say the hot weather will reach a peak in the next few days.

The highest temperatures will be measured in the most southern parts of the country, while tourists at the seaside will enjoy their summer vacations at 32C.

Mercury will go back to normal next week and people will have a short rest from the heat, according to weather forecasters.
