Hollywood star Mel Gibson has been sentenced to three years on probation, after he was caught driving while intoxicated, reports say. The actor will also have to attend AA meetings five times a week for four and a half months, and pay a fine of USD 1,300. Gibson's drivers license was revoked for a period of three months, but he should be happy, as he could have ended in prison for six months. Police busted Gibson while driving drunk on the road to Malibu on July 28. He was going more than twice the allowed speed, with a bottle of alcohol beside him.
