Today the world is counting with fear the damage that could have been done unless the new 9/11 was foiled. Today Bulgaria is counting with anger the damage that has been done by the flood of scandalous frauds revealed these days. And poor me, after feeling quite dizzy with the news yesterday, try to beat the hangover and list them neatly.

A state-run former foreign trade enterprise drained of BGN 5 M. Sofia heating utility forking out money for equipping the socialists with computers. A prosecutor in charge of the case against Toplofikatsia former chief removed for blunders that upset the investigation. A son of Sofia traffic police chief implicated in vehicles registration affair. Sofia citizens tricked of thousands of levs by cleaning companies.

The common thing in most of these stories is that the seeds were planted by Simeon Saxe-Coburg's party, but the beans were spilled by its current coalition partner - the Socialists. The best thing for the former king and the former communists to do is join efforts and bring the investigations to an end. And take the fraudsters to where they belong - the prison cells.
