Another 2 Bulgarians with New Kidneys

Surgeons in Sofia have transplanted kidneys to two adult Bulgarians, making for a total of seven such operations over the last ten days in the country.

The organs were taken from a 44-year-old dead woman, with the permission of her family.

A 59-year-old woman from Sofia and a man (58) from the northern city of Pleven received the kidneys, hoping for a better, healthier life now.

The operations were carried out at Alexandrovska Hospital.
