PM ENJOYS HIGH APPROVAL RATE, SURVEY SHOWS

Every second Bulgarian does not believe the situation in the country would have been better if another political organization had won the elections, survey of Mediana polling agency, conducted by the phone, Feb. 8 – 9 shows.

А total of 19% of all 490 respondents believe that another outcome of the June general elections would have harmed even further Bulgaria’s economic and political prospects.

A higher percentage of the respondents are confident that a different election outcome would have been for the better.

Asked to comment the role and efficiency of the Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg 60% still see him as the best person for the position. 34% expressed the opinion that in Bulgaria’s political life there are other figures who would have made a much better performance if appointed Prime Minister. A total of 26% were not able to give an answer.
