Petite Hollywood blonde Mena Suvari has arrived in Sofia for the shooting of her latest movie - a blood-chilling horror titled Day of the Dead.

Suvari's frightened screams are filling the capital's Iskar Station where producer Nu Image has built the set for the horror, directed by Steve Miner.

Miner's previous works that include Halloween H20: 20 years later and Texas Rangers: Friday the 13th, promise that this one would also be a hit. The team has also gathered the best in the make-up department and Bulgarian artists are joined by the pros who worked on Keira Knightley's pretty face in both series of blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean.

With the camera already rolling, Suvari is joined by Mission Impossible star Ving Rhames, pretty boy Stark Sands and Nick Cannon.

Shooting will continue for six weeks, during which Sofia will become the background of a film filled with a lot of action, spectacular scenes, and most of all - horror.
