Sofia woke up Friday with a newly lit garden, right behind the National Arts Gallery.
Located in the very heart of the city, the Gallery's garden had been quite grim at night for a long time, but now new lighting fixtures have made it shine again.
With the help of Actavis, Sofia municipality added 42 new lights to the park, worth over EUR 13,000.
Mayor Boyko Borisov, who was supposed to unveil the new addition, did not show up at the opening Thursday night, to the dismay of many.
