Bulgaria Drops Saxon, Motorhead

The gig of Saxon and Motorhead in Bulgaria was reportedly cancelled, after the planned Monsters of Rock festival also failed.

Saxon and Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister's side will not perform at the Black Sea side August 3, according to Avtora.com.

The gig was supposed to be the only bit of hard rock Bulgarian fans would get, after earlier this week the cancellation of Monsters of Rock became public.

Organizers of the metal marathon blamed the mayor of the city of Varna for the failure.
