Boxing Ring Bulgaria

By Petya Sabinova

"Frustrated? Want to beat up someone? Our special package offers 2 for the price of one - a trip to the shimmering Black Sea coast with an optional fight against a genuine Bulgarian..." Sometimes I really think that that's what UK tourists see in their holiday brochures.
Another teen has assaulted a Bulgarian from the tourist service industry and soon "free Oisin Gough" e-mails are going to pile up, even though the dude's not even arrested. We're going to hear what a quiet kid he's always been and how he'd never so much as smelled alcohol or swatted a fly before. Yeah right!
The truth is that Bulgaria is turning into a boxing ring for Brits and Irish who can't afford the more expensive resorts. Soon insurance companies won't take up clients who work in seaside bars and restaurants, or they'd want more money from them than they take from Schumacher. The Shields' case should have been a lesson to all the bullies - you simply can't visit a country and beat up people, because if we came and did it at your home you'd be less than thrilled. Not to mention we'd be thrown in a dungeon somewhere. Too bad some people just don't learn.
