A Nine Days' Wonder - Part II

He is an "honourable man, who would never take money from me" - these few words coming from the Italian businessman Cerani are supposed to clean the name of Bulgaria's former prime minister from a stain put on his name over the last two weeks. Now, didn't I earlier say that the Savoy scandal, at least the part concerning Bulgaria's name, was going to be a nine days' wonder? The royal scandal in combination with the secret files vortex that swirled Bulgaria in the last few days had no actual results on life in the country. It all seems to be fine now - after a few word battles - all participants in these "serious fights" now play possums! But what's more everyone is pleased - not only Victor Emmanuel! Now, isn't this an wonderful end for a "soap opera"?
