Italian designers shed some light on the art of making unique and stylish lighting fixtures in an exhibition in Sofia.

Coming from Kiev, through Mumbai, New York and Montreal, the expo will charm Bulgarians until July 9.

The exhibition is organized by Promos, the Lombardi Region, and the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade within the two-day "Bravo Italia" forum. The venue is part of the Third Italian Festival in Bulgaria, under the aegis of the Italian Embassy to Sofia.

Italy's envoy to Sofia Gian B. Campagnola and his wife Zohara unveiled the expo, and were among the first to walk through the festival of light on display in Sofia's Moscow House.

Later in the evening the Bravo Italia forum was wrapped up by a Gala with Italy's top musicians of the Casadei Orchestra.
