Author JK Rowling has revealed that at least two characters will die in the seventh book, but gave no clue as to who would end up meeting their maker.
In an interview, she explained the last chapter was written long ago and added: "One character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die."
When asked to give a bit more detail, she refused to commit herself, to avoid any hate mail from furious Potter fans.
Bulgaria has already contributed a star to the world-famous sequel, as Stanislav Ianevski played the role of Victor Krum in the latest filmed part - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Warner Brothers are already filming Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix. The next Harry Potter film is due to be released in the summer of 2007.
