Officials, businessmen, athletes and many guests and residents of Sofia took on sneakers Sunday and joined a cross-city march.
The long walk from the National Palace of Culture to the South Park ran under the motto "Live Actively" and was organised by Nestle Bulgaria.
The initiative aims to promote walking and physical activity in general as some of the means to counteract the negative impact of urban lifestyle on human health.
Folk dances, fitness training, martial arts demonstration, lots of games and surprises for the march participants wrapped up the Sunday event.
