Hollywood star Wesley Snipes is among the first people to visit Sofia's new airport terminal to shoot in Nu Image Bulgaria's latest project .

Snipes, the crew and about 300 extras filled the empty terminal with life as his character, an assassin, embarked on his last assignment - "The Shooter".

The Bronx-born star talked to the Bulgarian media for the first time ever and shared his fascination with Bulgaria, the food, the people and the women. Many were surprised to see him taking photos with a small digital camera between takes. Snipes explained that he likes to take photos of the people he sees at the movie sets all around the world.

Many Bulgarian actors have earned a part alongside Snipes, who has worked with Robert De Niro, Danny Glover, Jennifer Lopez and Woody Harrelson. The part of the terrorist Snipes' character is hired to kill is played by Nikolay Sotirov. Velizar Binev, Stanimir Stamatov and Mariana Stanisheva have also landed a part in "The Shooter".

The movie's plot revolves around a retired CIA assassin who takes on one last hit - a wide-known terrorist leader. Once the task is completed the hunter becomes the hunted and the assassin hides in London where he befriends a little girl living next door. Shooting takes place both in Sofia and Cardiff in the UK, and should be completed before the end of June.
