An incredible amount of more than four tons of honey was eaten up by Sofia's people on Saturday, in what was an aim at a Guinness record.
Visitors to the large South Park were welcomed with jars of the healthy sweetness, a SNA reporter said. Children seemed to especially enjoy the treat.
Selected honeys from Bee Land and Honey World aimed at a Guinness record by hoping to inspire the world's largest honey eating, organizers have said.
But the real goal of the savory fest was to attract young people to Bulgaria's honey producing, and to promote the business.
