Mercedes, Mini Cooper, Jaguar, Maserati, Opel, Buick and several more were the producers that were featured Saturday in a Sofia parade of retro vehicles.

Owners of the old but classy machines drove them to the square in front of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, drawing attention by hundreds of passer-bys.

The veteran in the parade was a 1928 Ford, followed by a Krupp truck made in 1935.

More than 100 retro vehicles were shown in the assorted fest.

It was initiated by Bulgaria's Retro Club, which brings together more than 100 owners with a total of over 400 cars.

One has to own a car of 25 years or more, in order to be accepted as a member.
