The summer is already setting in Bulgaria! Great news, right? Weather forecasts warn that the summer is already here with temperatures expected to go beyond 37 degrees on Celsius, so, it is here to stay! Now all we have to do is pack and leave for the seaside! Bulgaria is surely putting forward a wonderful tourism adventure for everyone, offering almost everything, from posh and shiny summer resorts to small and charming sea villages. Everything a person could want! But, as usual the sky is not completely blue... the local tourism industry is facing some serious problems that surely have to be solved. Just a month after tourism representatives pooled efforts to work for the improvement of the sector the news that Bulgaria's National Tourism Board has parted ways with some members, sounds somehow weird! Still, the State Tourism Agency is continuing its crusade against the illegal constructions on the beach and the hotels popping up in without the needed permits. But no one seems to pay attention to the warnings that the seaside it too overcrowded and too heavily constructed. So there is real threat for Bulgaria's 1216 hotels and 79,725 hotel beds to remain empty in the new tourism season!
