The latest offering from flamenco supremo Paco Pena, "A Compas", filled with tenderness and passion the National Palace of Culture in Sofia Wednesday evening.

The concert took place within the framework of the European Music Festival and marked the anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Spain.

A company of seven musicians and three dancers made the evening engrossing and enjoyable for hundreds of viewers.

As its title "A Compas" indicates, the new show focuses on a single aspect of flamenco - the rhythm - and tells the story about flamenco itself, exploring the relations between music and dance.
