Europe should adopt a common constitution, said Bulgarian President Stoyanov who took part in the summit of the Central European countries in Italy. The situation in Macedonia proves the fact that the debate on working out a common European Constitution should be speeded up. This new constitution must concern also the candidate countries, President Stoyanov declared at the summit. The 14 presidents of Central European countries adopted a declaration in support of the efforts of the government of Macedonia to handle the crisis. They have pronounced for the protection of the territorial integrity of Macedonia, condemned the violation of human rights and declared their stand against establishment of multiethnic countries in the region.
