Italy's new Prime Minister Romano Prodi has named his new government after giving a list of ministers to President Giorgio Napolitano. There a number of ex-prime ministers on his team - including Massimo D'Alema, who will take the foreign minister seat and will be one of Prodi's two deputies. The other one will be Francesco Rutelli, who will also be culture minister. Tommaso Padoa Schioppa, a former member of the European Central Bank executive board, will be economy minister and former Socialist Prime Minister Giuliano Amato will head the Interior.
