Football star Dimitar Berbatov was named Bulgaria's Most Stylish Man in a traditional ceremony on Monday night.
The blue-eyed charmer, who moved from the Bundesliga to London just recently, was nominated for the award together with pop veteran Orlin Goranov and politician Emil Koshlukov.
Guests to the Pantene Beauty Awards gala were surprised to see the young striker personally receiving the honour, as he is right in the midst of a transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Tottenham.
In the women's category, the most stylish emerged to be Tsvetelina Borislavova.
Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov also appreciates the banker's elegance, since Borislavova has been his longtime love partner.
Another classy lady, Iren Onteva, won the Best Female Model.
The Best Male Model prize went to Vladimir Karamazov, who missed the ceremony.
Most Stylish Couple, rather surprisingly, went to athletes rather than artists.
World ice dance champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski won the award, but only Albena was there to receive the statuette since her partner was outside the country.
Also among winners that night were pop-folk diva Anelia (Most Stylish Hair), Ivaylo Dushkin (Best Hairdresser), and Slav (Best Makeup Artist).
First lady Zorka Parvanova failed to attend the gala and to receive in person the Spirit of Beauty Award, handed every year for a person's charity efforts.
That was the fourth edition of the yearly Pantene Beauty Awards, which have been acknowledged as one of the top events in Bulgaria's entertainment industry.
