A woman aged 63 is about to become the oldest Briton to give birth, media say.
Patricia Rashbrook of East Sussex was treated in a Rome fertility clinic late last year. Now the aged woman is reported to be
seven-months pregnant with her third child.
Rashbrook and her husband have requested privacy, and given no details about the kind of treatment received.
Most British fertility experts hold back from treating women aged over 45, the BBC said.
The oldest woman in the world to give birth is thought to be Romanian Adriana Iliescu. At the age of 66, she had a daughter last year.
