2 Diagnosed with Marseilles Fever in Bulgaria

Two Bulgarian men have been diagnosed with Marseilles fever in Bulgaria's second city of Plovdiv.

The fever is usually caused by tick bites, and causes a rise in temperature, general faintness, and rashes. Both patients are stable but they have to be treated for at least a week more.

Marseilles fever is more common in spring when tick bites grow in number because many people go for walks or picnics in the grass.
