Bulgaria and Romania will fight mosquitoes together in the Danube regions.

The municipality of the Bulgarian city Russe announced that a common ten-year plan for mosquitoes' populations management will be signed between the two neighbouring countries.

The agreement would be valid for 5 years for the regions of Russe, Vidin, Montana, Pleven, Silistra, Veliko Tarnovo and Vratsa.

A Dutch company is helping Bulgaria in its fight against mosquitoes.

After recent floods in the Danube regions the insects became one of the many problems the local authorities had to deal with.
