A ten-month-old girl has been abandoned by a man on Easter Sunday and the police is still waiting for her parents to come and claim her.

The little girl was left with a florist by an unidentified man, who said he was just going to the nearby store to pick up something. The man never came back so the florist, whose stand was right in front of Sofia's St. George church, called the police.

Police is currently looking for the man, who is said to be of Roma origin. They suspect that he is the baby's father. In the meantime, she has been temporarily placed under the care of the social services. The girl is safe and in good health, reports say.
