One of Bulgaria's oldest cultural clubs has drawn massive attention with its 150th anniversary party.

The chairman of the cultural centers association, Stoyan Denchev, together with dozens of cultural leaders and journalists attended Tuesday the presentation of the nearing anniversary celebration of "Dobri Voynikov," the cultural club in Shumen.

The forum took place in the National Theater Ivan Vazov in Sofia.

Guests saw a film on the history of the club, which began in 1856, and also received a special congratulation message from Education Minister Daniel Valchev.

The celebration of its anniversary will take place on April 26.
