Hotels in five Bulgarian cities have seen a unique marathon of simultaneous baby-making by 100 couples.
The lovers were taking part in a campaign to boost Bulgaria's population, and vying for a prize.
All couples spent a night for free in hotels in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Dobrich.
The personnel used candles, rose petals and champagne to inspire the love contenders, organizers revealed.
Now the campaigners will wait a month to see how many Bulgarian babies have been conceived during the "love night."
The lucky to-be parents have to prove pregnancy with a doctor's notice. That will let them compete for a prize of free furnishing for the child's room, and other gifts.
Sofia-based Radio Vitosha had initiated the baby making.
