American hip-hop legends ONYX gave their Bulgarian fans more than they'd ever expected when they appeared at the afterparty to their Sofia concert on Monday, an SNA reporter witnessed.

After a smashing performance at the capital's Hristo Botev Hall in the infamous student town, ONYX surprisingly showed up at Stroeja - a nearby club, where the afterparty to the concert was at its height. "None of the bands we've invited has ever graced us with their presence," a staff member bewilderedly commented, "these guys are really great."

Great as they might be ONYX have one simple answer to why they showed up - Bulgaria's audience is cool, and they deserve it. The guys were even surprised that they were the first ones to honor an afterparty, and found it quite natural. Plus, there was an added incentive. "Bulgarian women are really beautiful," they said beaming.

Hundreds of fans couldn't believe their eyes when their idols climbed atop the bar at about one in the morning and started rapping away, joined by the Bulgarian stars from Dope Rich Squad (DRS). Attempting to climb through the club's windows, those who stayed outside regretted they hadn't gone in earlier, for the place was so packed that more than half of the exalted fans had to enjoy the improvised concert in fresh air.

Just minutes before ONYX took the mikes, fans were blissfully unaware of their presence and getting to the legends was a piece of cake. "Bulgarians are quite good in English," ONYX noticed, with observant girls rushing to launch a conversation. "They feel hip hop and they want real hip hop and we are hip hop."

Indeed they are, for the NY titans managed to really blow up the crowd with no fancy equipment, and no sound checks - just pure, raw hip hop. "We will be back", they promised their fans amid a roar of applause.
