FILM DEPICTING RESCUE OF THE BULGARIAN JEWS SHOWN IN GENEVE

Israeli Nitzam Aviram who directed the film “Beyond Hitler’s Grasp” defined the Bulgarian salvation of the Bulgarian Jews during World War II as unique because of the courage and the humanity of the society and because of the way in which the Bulgarians – Germany’s allies – managed to avert the mass extermination of Bulgarians with Jewish descent. Aviram said that after the film “ Beyond Hitler’s Grasp” was shown on January 21 at the United Nations building in Geneve.
