The first tournament for Latin-American dances form the Grand Prix Chain in Bulgaria is to be held in the frames of Sofia Open, the organizers announced.
World famous Latin-American dancers will take part in a unique show that will be held April 1 at Universiada Hall in Sofia. The tickets for the show are already on sale, it was announced at a press conference by the organizers of the event vivatel, Bulgarian Sport Dances Federation, Professional Dance Federation and With Patent Leather Shoes Club.
Latin-American Fantasy performance will take place in the frames of the gala night of the elite Sofia Open Tournament. The European champions from Finland Jukka Haapalainen and Sirpa Suutari will take part in it. The starry night will be opened by the world figure skating champions Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski.
In this year's edition of Sofia Open two competitions, joined by the name Latin-American Fantasy, will be held. The traditional IDSF Sofia Open competition - part of the world calendar that bring to the competitors points for the world rang list - again will gather together some of the greatest names from all over the world. Representatives of the countries with the strongest positions in this sport, such as Italy, Germany, England and Russia, as well as a highly prestigious jury that consists of world and European champions are expected.
The second competition - the Professional Grand Prix is the first tournament for professionals that will take in Bulgaria and it is a part of the Grand Prix Chain.
About 200 pairs will take part in the two tournaments. All of them will compete for a prix into one of the highest award funds in the world. Bulgarian world vice-champions of show programs will have their performance too.
