Famed British filmmaker Sir Alan Parker, who is in Sofia for a major fest, will take Bulgarian film tapes to London.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the creator of "Midnight Express," "Evita," and "Angel Heart" confessed he had not seen a Bulgarian movie yet.

But Parker has asked his Sofia hosts to give him tapes to take back to London and watch.

Parker arrived for the traditional Sofia Film Fest that opened on Thursday. The international forum will continue for ten days, providing a valuable opportunity to movie lovers to expand their horizon.

Among the guests are dozens of big names from the world filmmaking guild.
