Osama Bin Laden's niece, who stripped for the famous GQ, has signed up to star in a reality television show about her life as an aspiring singer and actress straddling US and Islamic cultures, a production company said.

Wafah Dufour, who used to be known as Wafah Dufour Bin Ladin, is an aspiring singer and musician who is the daughter of bin Laden's half-brother Yeslam Bin Ladin.

Born in California but raised from the ages of three to 10 by the bin Laden family in Saudi Arabia, Dufour has been on a media blitz recently complaining about prejudice against her because of family ties to her notorious uncle whom she has never met.

Last year Dufour posed for sexy pictures in GQ magazine that included her posing in a bubble bath wearing nothing but a necklace.

Her story will bridge the gap that people feel exists between the cultures she has lived in, said ReganMedia president Judith Regan, who is producing the series.
