The Second Jazz Plus Festival will enchant Bulgaria from the beginning of March, offering music lovers a taste of world-class magic.

Duo Dino Saluzzi and Anja Lechner will open the fest with their world premiere, astonishing Bulgarian lovers of musical subtlety.

Timoteo 'Dino' Saluzzi is considered the greatest living virtuoso bandoneonist and an original composer. During his 50 years as a musician he has put invaluable contribution to the "tango nuevo", by collaborations with artists exploring the field of jazz and contemporary classical music.

Anja Lechner is the cellist of the Rosamunde Quartet, which she co-founded in 1992. The quartet made its international breakthrough with festival appearances and, particularly, recordings with ECM.

Dino Saluzzi and Anja Lechner will play yet to be recoded material for the first time before the Bulgarian audience in Bulgaria Hall on March 1. Sofia is the starting point of their European tour.
