The Russian Patent Office issued an order on May 31, 2001 which adjudges the trademark Pharmachim to the state-owned venture Pharmachim Holding, Assen Stoyanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said. This document entirely rehabilitates Pharmachim, which was isolated for months from Russian markets because Balkanpharma Holding stole its trademark. Pharmachim Holding will sue Balkanfarma for inflicted damages and missed revenues. All the trucks shipping medicines of the Bulgarian firm`s exporters were freed by the Russian customs authorities and they will not be impeded to trade on the territory of Russia, sources from Pharmachim Holding said.
