Bulgaria's President Georgi Parvanov bid success to the country's Olympic delegation for the Winter Games in Turin at an official ceremony in Sofia.

"Bulgaria is among the founders of the Olympic movement and we all remember our peaks in the Winter Olympics," Parvanov said. He expressed his belief that Bulgaria would soon celebrate the news of new victories.

Ice-skating and snowboarding were some of the areas were Parvanov said he hoped for big breaks, based on recent results.

The President wished all the athletes good luck and expressed his belief that whatever happens in February in Turin, the country would still have a place in the world of Winter Olympics.
