KING TO WITHDRAW DISCLOSED CANDIDATES

King`s party National Movement Simeon II decided to withdraw 8 candidates for the parliament in general Elections June 17, who were disclosed as former spies or informers during the communist time. The movement announced officially today that other 8 candidates will be introduced to the election commission on Monday. 78 were pointed as former spies or informers last week. King`s party is the first political player on the market, which reacts in that way. Union for rights and freedom, which leader Ahmed Dogan and some other key members were disclosed also already refused to cancel their candidacy to the parliament. The largest opposition force the Socialists Party also stated will not take in mind the decision of the special commission, appointed by the parliament just before it was dissolved almost two months ago.
