Science: Study to Find Bum Flattering Clothes

Society | December 30, 2005, Friday // 00:00

A Scottish university has launched a study on how clothes affect perception of the female bottoms.

Heriot-Watt University's School of Textiles and Design will reportedly give the first scientific answer to women's question "What clothes make my bum look good?"

Researchers will study the effect of different designs, colours, patterns and fabrics, the BBC said this week.

Four models have been chosen to represent the basic shapes and sizes of female rears.

Results from the first phase of the study are to be published in May.
